We are thrilled to extend an invitation to all members of AZUCA Arizona Chapter of NUCA to participate in a **FREE 5.5-hour CPR & Stop the Bleed Training** event, hosted by AZUCA Arizona Chapter of NUCA with exclusive sponsor Core and Main.

Complimentary Lunch & Drinks: We will have a short break for lunch and drinks around 11:30am during the training.

1. Welcome, Registration (7:45 AM - 8:00 AM)
2. CPR/First Aid Training Session (8:00 AM - 11:50 AM)
3. Lunch Break (11:50AM - 12:00PM)
4. Stop the Bleed Session (12:00PM - 1:30PM)

CPR for Professionals : This class is intended for professional rescuers and those working in the professional medical field or wanting to work in the professional medical field. The student will become proficient in assessing the patient, 1 and 2 rescuer mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-mask breathing, conscious and unconscious choking, bag-valve-mask use, recovery position, cardiac chain of survival, infection control, and recognizing the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. This class covers CPR for the adult, child, and infant patient using both 1 and 2 person techniques.
AED : This class is aimed at teaching the members of the community and workplace in the correct use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The student will be proficient in using an AED on the adult patient, patient assessment, cardiac chain of survival, infection control, and recognizing the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. The AED class is taught in addition to one of the above CPR classes only.
Basic First Aid : This class is intended for members of the community and in the workplace. Students will learn basic techniques in caring for and treating injuries including bleeding, shock, burns, bone injuries, head and spine injuries, bites and stings, poisonings, diabetic emergencies, seizures, heat and cold emergencies, strokes, the recovery position, patient assessment, and moving patients. Students will be proficient in treating these emergencies and the patient until further help arrives.
Stop the Bleed: The Stop the Bleed course teaches individuals how to provide vital initial actions to stop uncontrolled bleeding in emergency situations. The Bleeding Control Basics course gives participants the necessary tools to become an empowered initial responder.
Registration Details: Priority will be given to AZUCA Members; Non-Members are welcome with a fee of $100
