Join us for the November Virtual Safety Roundtable.  This is an impromptu  meeting of safety professionals in the industry that would like to have a  casual  roundtable discussion on various topics. For this month, we will discuss IPR, NESC,OSHA Requirements.

This information will provide a better understanding how SRP’s Initial Plan Review (IPR) process works when a project is submitted to SRP land department. It will show how utilities companies designs and construct power lines to the National Electrical Safety Codes (NESC) and if conditions change than SRP needs to review the changes. The last part will show OSHA Minimum Approach Distances (MAD) that non-qualified workers need to maintain from the overhead power lines.
